Subtask added to active sprint not showing on scrum board

I added a subtask to an issue in the current sprint. The subtask shows up under the parent issue, however, it's not showing on the scrum board for the active sprint. Is there a way to have it show on the active sprint scrum board?

If your board is not configured to exclude it, you will see it on the active sprint board under the issue it belongs to.  Check your filters do not exclude sub-tasks.

All of the subtasks that were created under the parent issue before the sprint started show on the active sprint board. It's just the 1 subtask that was created after the sprint started that is missing.
