Subtask created via Post Function does not copy the Security Level from the parent

I have implemented Issue Security in our environment. It is working well except for some subtasks that are created with a workflow post function. I have tried copying the field data from the parent with no success. If I change the parent level, it then updates the child. How can I get the child to get the security level applied on creation?

Hi @Alan Bruce ,

a sub-task always inherits the issue security level from its parent. There's no way to change it independently - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-5869

Cheers

Yeah, but I have some post functions that create subtasks and they come up with the Security level not being populated. I have been able to update the workflow now to sync the 2 fields.

Thank you.
