Synchronisation of development data complete. Please reload.
What does this message mean? I get it very often when using Jira. What is the cause? What is "development data"? It doesn't seem like anything's different after reloading. Why is it constantly nagging me to push the Reload button? I reload and then moments later it nags me again.
Hi everyone,
We have had a small number of support cases asking about this specific message. It appears to be that this message can appear in Jira Cloud sites that are integrated with Github. It appears that the Github integration is designed to display this message given the sync that happens. However Bitbucket integration does not trigger this same popup.
We have created a feature request investigate the possibility to potentially hide this message in Jira Software Cloud over in JSWCLOUD-17725
I would recommend watching and voting on that issue.
Regards,
Andy
Thanks, I have voted as we are experiencing the same issue.

I can confirm that we are using GitHub integration. So your explanation is plausible.

I keep getting the same nag error and have the same question.

We get the same message (on first load and recurring) on our Release Report pages (URLs ending with /tab/release-report-all-issues).
It doesn't seem like an error, but it's causing some annoyance with the folks here that leave that page open and get the message over and over.

Same here. Can't this be an automatic background process without fully reloading the page? Atlassian - do something please.

+ 1 here. Already received a request from my team to fix it for the whole instance.
