Tasks issues in advanced roadmap are not dispayed within the epic but separately

I have created plan from the project, which has issue types epic, story, task, sub-task. In the plan the task issue type is not displayed under the epic where it was created. I do not filter issue types, nothing is excluded.

When I choose the hierarchy from epic to sub-taks, tasks are excluded from the view. Stories are under the epics correctly.

How do I get task issue types to be be displayed under the parent on the plan.

Hi @Mirka Vatajova 

Please let me know when you select Epic to Story hierarchy, what view you are getting with the sceenshot.

And you have the Filter option to get the task issue type issues

Stories are correctly in the hierarchy. Tasks were created in the same way, they have parent  epics.

in the project roadmap they are displayed correctly.

This still does not allow you to add Tasks in below Story. You can only add Above Epic. So Advanced Roadmaps then does not display Tasks below the Story level ONLY Sub-Tasks!

I have resolved my issue. Tasks do come through and found under Stories. If they have an Epic Link completed then they will fall in under the Epic. 

They will not be under a Story - that needs to be a Sub-Task.

So understand the flow and that works.

First i would say to confirm that the Tasks have a parent issue. If not the plan will not show them as having one. You also could use the "Bulk Action" option by selecting the tasks you wish to assign to a parent and then update Parent.
