Tempo worklog distribution gadget

Ali B. December 3, 2018

Hi there,

I got the following need. I want to see how the worklogs of a certain user are distributed in a pie chart.

Thus, first I have created a jql (tempo3)
Then, I have added the gadget and linked it with the jql filter.
When looking on my tempo report, I see, that I have logged 3,3h in bam-114 (tempo4).
But the gadget says I have logged 5,1h (tempo5)

I can tell you, that the additional 1,8h in the gadget come from two other users who have logged their time on bam-114.

What can I do to see only my logged work in the gadget, as it is stated in the report?

Hi Ali,

This can not be done in the Worklog Distribution gadget and the filter you have selected. When you have the permission to view the worklogs of other users ( either for the Project or within a Team), the gadgets will show all worklogs made on the Issues  in the selected filter and timeframe.

To view your own worklogs as a pie chart ( for the current period) you can use the "Tempo User Timesheet Charts" gadget.

Hi Susanna, thanks for your answer.

But is there no way to have an overview about how many hours a user has spent on customers / accounts ?

Hi Ali,

This can not be done in a gadget as it requires to filter by Account and User which is not possible in the current gadets ( this only works in the gadget if you are not allowed to view worklgos of other users).

In the Reports, you can filter the worklogs by User and Account (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/spaces/TEMPO/pages/565051440/Creating+Custom+Reports).

Susanne
