Hi
Yesterday I saw that there was an app to integrate Jira with GitHub. So I installed the app. Then, for many of my repositories I cloned them into GitHub. Only one of them did I start front a new repository to clean out the size of the project.
I then set up the GitHub integration app to map to these new repositories.
When I go to a Jira tick and look at the commits and hover over them, they all show the bitbucket commits rather than GitHub counterparts. Is this not possible to update?
Hi @ChuckieAJ
This is Dhiren from Exalate.
Exalate, provides a fully bi-directional synchronization between GitHub and Jira (among other ITSM systems) that is fully customizable. It is easy to set up and Exalate uses a scripting engine which is based on Groovy scripts where you can control what data you want to share and even you can independently handle the incoming information. You can achieve complex use-cases with ease.
You can easily fetch data from GitHub repositories and sync issues from GitHub to issues in Jira.
If you would like to see a customized demo of the product in action, feel free to book a slot with us.
Thanks
Dhiren
@ChuckieAJ hi. Did you contact the customer service of the tool you use? They should be able to help you resolve your issue. Meanwhile, if you decide you want to try an alternative to the tool you're currently using, feel free to check out ZigiOps. It's flexible and fully customizable and does not require additional coding. It will help you transfer and sync the data you need from Jira to GitHub. Check it out and if you want to see it in action - book a demo.
Regards, Diana (ZigiWave team)

I think that in the end I was using the wrong GitHub extension. I uninstalled it and used the Atlassian counterpart and all was good.
