Is it possible to use the insight function to track the success criteria on a programme? I am struggling to find information online or is the better/more appropriate toolset to use?

From the sounds of it, you're going to track an agile program as an object within Insight, and then I assume relate it to the appropriate issues via an Insight custom field.

Having different attributes on this object (e.g. Success Criteria) is possible, although...it feels like the wrong place to put something like this.

I almost feel like creating a separate issue type of "Program" with the appropriate fields and a simple workflow might serve you just as well. You can then link the other agile issues related to that program and have everything as normal within Jira.

Thank you David for the note!

Hi @Alasdair McKie ,

Could you elaborate on your question?
What is a programme for you? What are your criteria for succes?
How can they change over time and on what level would you like to report on them?

Right off the bat I would think there will be better ways to track something like success criteria, but I could be wrong.

Hi @Tessa Tuteleers ,

Thank you for your response.

I think my first answer/question back to yourself would be what is the typical toolset used for managing the success criteria on an agile programme?
