Dear Atlassian community!
We have set up a Jira Cloud App for Slack. We did the connection, created a channel and it seems to be working fine. We can create a ticket with /jira create. We can also see some updates on the Jira bot app. However what we cannot do is:
query a specific jira ticket with /jira SUPP-123. It tells us it is not found. I double checked the connection on the channel and it seems to be fine.
We also don't receive any ticket creation/modification updates in our channel, only settings changes to the slack integration through the jira app management.
We tried turning the slack integration on and off. We tried reinstalling the Jira Cloud App and reconnecting. Neither of these helped.
Can anyone point us in the right direction, what are we missing?
Just for future reference, we managed to solve this in-house. Our Jira admin edited issue security permissions which prevented them to get on slack.
Cheerio
Hi,
Are you able to see the ticket within the slack thread? i am currently having this issue and I'm not sure how to solve.
