If I close a sprint and start a new sprint.
The tickets that where put in DONE are being shown in the New sprint
There was no parent task or sub task related to these tickets in DONE.
How can I make sure that when I start a new sprint I dont see the DONE tickets from the last sprint?
How can I remove all the tickets that are DONE from last sprint from my current sprint backlog and bord view.
Thanks.
Hi Evelin,
Firstly, I would check if there is a resolution being set when issues are being transitioned to Done.
If issues are unresolved they could be included in future sprints.
Correct. Resolution must be set. Also, be sure Done is the right-most column.

Ok. Where can I find the resolution. I see that after DONE we have a column called: can't be fixed. Maybe that's why. Can I just re-oder columns?

Usually resolutions are automatically set through a postfunction or on a transition screen on the transition going to the Done status.
You can see whether the issue has a resolution or not, under the status.
If it says "Unresolved" the resolution have not been added.
If you don't depend on different types of resolutions for each closed status, I would recommend adding them through postfunctions. You can add one resolution for Done issues and another for Cant Be Fixed. This allows you to differentiate between how the issues were resolved.
Note that you'll need Jira admin right in your instance to add postfunctions and trasition screens. (project admin right won't be enough).

Yes, that is the problem - the last column on the board is what Jira sees as "defined as done". Re-ordering your columns so that the last one contains the issues that are "done". At the moment, your "can't be fixed" is defining "done".
I would put both "can't be fixed" status AND "done" status into the last column. Otherwise, your "can't be fixed" issues are going to keep moving to the next sprint. From the name, I'd guess they are really "done" as well, despite them being "won't/cant' do" - your assessment of them as that is effectively the work you've perform in order to do them
