Time Logging Field not available

Time/Effort Logging field to put consumed efforts is not available. I am using Jira 6.3. 

Can anybody help me by telling whether this utility is available in Jira 6.3. If ts available, plz tell how to enable it.

You will need an Administrator to ensure that Time Tracking is enabled in the global settings.

You will also need to ensure that the Time Tracking field is added to your issue screens.

Thanks Pete for quick response. 

My admin is telling that Time tracking is not available in global settings, so not sure if this is really available in version 6.0. Can you please confirm.
