Time tracking field missing under tasks

New to this and need some help adding "time tracking" field for a task. it seems to be missing. I can see it in other projects but not in my main projects that contain epics.

I suspect is it might be the fact that i have selected the wrong project type "Team-managed software" as the ther project type is "Company-managed software" its that one that allows me to use time tracking.

Is there a manual way to add the time tracking field to a task?

hi @Michael 

time tracking field is not visible for particular issuetype then click on create select the project and issuetype and beside you can see (...) click on 3 dots you can see show fields in that select timetracking and then apply

Thanks so much for the response. Sorry I'm still not getting if i go under that current task or even create a new one. and then to the 3 DOTs i only see delete issue.

I'm i in the wrong place?
