Timer in Jira

Hello Friends....I am using Jira server....how can i set timer in jira? i want to set timer on transition of workflow...i dont want use time tracking

You can also try Time Between statuses to get time each issue move from one status to another.

What is exactly for you a timer on transition or workflow?

Do you want an alert when the time in some status will be "more than X"?
