Hello,
Some of our Jira projects are for several different applications that are installed locally at all our our businesses' remote locations (350+). Our rollout procedure is to rollout a new version to a few locations for a specified time period, then some more locations, and eventually rolling out to all our our locations.
My question is, are there any recommended tools for tracking the rollout of these versions simultaneously, so we can have a view where each application is in our rollout process? It would be nice to have an overall view of all the versions for our different products.
Chris,
I don't know of any tool that is going to sync that information and pull it back to a central location. I would suggest using Confluence to document and compile all the information into a single page / location. You can create a form that you maintain and portions of that form are aggregated into a single page. You could then go to that single location to get an overall picture of what is occuring.
Hi Brant, thanks for the quick reply. That is an interesting idea to use confluence, and that is for sure an option I can discuss with my stakeholders.
