Hi,
We are new to Jira and I'm setting up new users within our organisation.
Is there a way to set the new experience to be turned on by default for users?
By default, users seem to be getting the old Jira with an option to opt-in to the new experience. This is really confusing as they have never seen the old Jira before (all our training and familiarisation has been in the new experience). Ideally, I'd like to turn the old Jira off.... because nobody wants to make two sets of user guides.

So it looks like there is no setting hiding somewhere to make this happen.
@Brittany Wispellwhy would you want to turn it off for everyone when it's already op-in only? Sounds like you might be delaying the inevitable.
I've lodged a support ticket and will let you know how I go.
@Michael Rae wish I had an answer for you on that! But yes seems like everyone is just wanting to avoid it till it's forced upon them.
Hope you get an answer from support soon.

Hey @Michael Rae
I am only finding documentation on how to turn it off and turn it off for good.
I would try messaging Atlassian Support. It looks like they can turn it off for good so maybe they can turn it on for good?

Although, if you leave it a couple of weeks, it's going to be forced on to everyone...
