Hello,
I have enabled Rank option for the project(added in screens too). But I am unable to Rank the issues. I cant see Rank option while creating an issue.
Thank you,
Sandeep
Hi Thanniru - Check the Permission Scheme for the project for the Schedule Issue permissions. You need to have that permission to actually move the cards (i.e. re-rank them).
Hi John, I have enabled permissions for manager and admin. Both of them can't Rank the issue.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Currently we are using "project = XCC ORDER BY Rank ASC" filter.

As of now I can only prioritize an issue by dragging, now I am trying to Rank the issue.

Can't we Rank the issue by number? like assigning issue with the number based priority.

No - the ranking used by Jira is extremely complicated and is not available for you to just put in a value.
See this for the only Ranking process: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/rank-an-issue/
Now, having said that, I have a project that I have created a priority field for and populate it manually. But it is a very tedious process with not a lot of issues to be ranked.
