Hi Thanniru - Check the Permission Scheme for the project for the Schedule Issue permissions. You need to have that permission to actually move the cards (i.e. re-rank them).

Hi John, I have enabled permissions for manager and admin. Both of them can't Rank the issue.

Can you post the filter you are using here?

Thanniru Sandeep April 21, 2020

Currently we are using "project = XCC ORDER BY Rank ASC" filter.

That will allow you to drag cards up or down to re-rank them. What is not working for you?

Thanniru Sandeep April 21, 2020

As of now I can only prioritize an issue by dragging, now I am trying to Rank the issue.

That is how you rank them - by dragging.

Can't we Rank the issue by number? like assigning issue with the number based priority.

No - the ranking used by Jira is extremely complicated and is not available for you to just put in a value.

See this for the only Ranking process: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/rank-an-issue/

Now, having said that, I have a project that I have created a priority field for and populate it manually. But it is a very tedious process with not a lot of issues to be ranked.
