Unable to add members to Tempo team

Hello, I am unable to add members in any of the Tempo teams. I have tried all options like adding by names or codes or email, although this was working perfectly fine till yesterday.

Anyone has any idea why this has stopped or if there is any alternate to this?

TIA

Regards,

Farhan

Hi @Syed Farhan ,

1]Check User Permissions:

  • Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to add members to Tempo teams. Users attempting to add team members should have the appropriate project or team permissions.

2]Verify Tempo Team Permissions:

  • Confirm that you have the required permissions within Tempo. In Tempo, permissions for managing teams can be configured, so ensure you have the necessary rights to modify team memberships.

3]Check for Recent Changes:

  • If the issue started recently, consider any recent changes made to the Jira or Tempo configurations. This could include updates, changes in user permissions, or modifications to Tempo configurations.

4]Tempo Team Configuration:

  • Double-check the configuration of the Tempo team. Make sure that the team is set up correctly, and there are no restrictions preventing members from being added.

5]Verify User Details:

  • Ensure that you are entering user details correctly when adding members. Check for typos in usernames, email addresses, or user keys.

6]Tempo Plugin Version:

  • Check if there have been recent updates to the Tempo plugin. It's possible that a new version may have introduced changes or addressed existing issues.

7]Check for Outages or Maintenance:

  • Verify if there are any ongoing outages or maintenance activities affecting the Jira Cloud or Tempo services. Such disruptions can impact the functionality of various features.

8]Tempo Support:

  • If the issue persists, it's advisable to reach out to Tempo support. They can provide specific assistance related to their plugin and investigate any potential issues.

9]Review System Logs:

  • Examine system logs in Jira to identify any error messages or issues related adding members on tempo teams' logs can provide valuable information about what might be causing problems.

10]Clear Browser Cache:

  • Clear your browser cache and try again cached data can sometimes cause unexpected issues.

Hope it will help!

Hi @Syed Farhan

Could be that permissions have changed within Tempo or in Jira Global Permissions.

If nothing changed, you could reach out to Tempo support.

I can't see any issues to Tempo on their status page
