I have a "Closed On" field which needs to be auto-populated with the current date when I close a ticket. I have selected the date picker. However, even after using POST function in the workflow and the automation rules, doesn't seem to work.
The automation rule doesn't work. And when I use the POST function, the customfield_id number gives error.
Any suggestions are welcome please.

Hi @Ashwati Menon I just created Closed On field of Date picker type and confifured postfunciton:
and it works fine. Can you check your postfunction configuration and share it here?

Thank you for your response. I did try the method you shared. And it seems to be giving a custom field value error. Is there any Atlassian plug-in / app that you are using? I tried this multiple times and seem to be facing this again.
