Unable to see bitbucket commits on Jira

Fiorella Bolaños July 9, 2019

Hi,

For some time now, commits and created branches of the bitbucket have ceased to appear on the jira:

It seems that the link between both has been broken, I have read a lot of documentation and I am not able to reconfigure it.

I tried to create a link in the Jira to the bitbucket but it doesn't work (I must be putting the url wrong):

And in the bitbucket I also tried to add a link to the jira:

Thank you!

@Fiorella Bolaños ,

From your screenshots it looks like you are trying to configure the integration with BitBucket Cloud using Application Links.

This is wrong and you should use DVCS Accounts (https://xxxxxxx.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ConfigureDvcsOrganizations!default.jspa) instead, as documented in:

Please review above pages and let me know if by following the steps in there you are able to configure the integration with BitBucket Cloud.

Cheers,
Dario

Hi Dario,

Thank you for your answer. What you said was already configured before and has stopped working, that's why I was trying for with the Applications Links:

Still, I don't see the commits or the associated branches on the jira.

Hi @Fiorella Bolaños ,

If you cannot see the  development related information in the issue view anymore, but this was working fine before, then further investigation is needed and for this reason I have created a support request on your behalf.

Please work with the Support Engineer that will be assigned to your case and provide  as much information about this issue as possible. For example:

  1. If you are the only user affected or if all the users in the instance are unable to see development related information
  2. If the development  information is missing from all the issues or only some of them
  3. If you can recall when this stopped working
  4. If you had any migration or any big change that might have caused the issue
  5. .... etc

Finally, once done, it would be nice if you could paste the solution in here so that it could be useful to other customers that may be facing the same issue.

Have a nice day.

Dario
