Hello,
I would like to use Top-Level Planning template under Software Development. The template is greyed out for me and states - "Your Jira admin is responsible for creating new projects using this template. Contact them for assistance".
We recently signed up for Premium Free-Trial for 30 days. How can I get access to use this template.
Thanks!
Hi, @Sanjay Khanna. Welcome to the community
Click on the "Gear" in the upper righthand corner of the screen and you'll find a link for contacting you administrator.
Best,

Hmmm... That's strange.
I am tagging this for someone from Atlassian to have a look. It may be in your best interest to open a ticket with them too, for personal attention. There may be a problem with your specific set up.

I can see that you are a site-admin now of the site in question, and that this site has a premium trial of Jira Software. So this should work. But what I can't see from your screenshot, is the avatar of your account. It could be that maybe you have a second account that does not have access to this site?
I would recommend trying to use a private or incognito session in order to see if you can login again to the site to try this out. By default jira-administrators should have access to the Plans feature, but site-admins might not have this outright. But at least if you're a site-admin, you should be able to grant yourself membership to the jira-administrators group or whatever the equivalent is for that site.
Alternatively, if you can have another Jira admin navigate to the /jira/plans/settings/permissions page, this could be helpful to see exactly which groups are granted access to the Plans feature. And if this still isn't working, then let me know, and I can create support case on your behalf if need be.
Andy
