I am working on project and I have created new status called as "Tech". Team is assigns this status to user stories and bugs. I have also created quick filter "Tech" to filter all defects and stories. Issue I am facing is neither I get any user stories or defects with I click on the filter "Tech" in backlog view. When I execute a query I do get correct results. What would be the reason backlog view is not returning user stories or defects with status "Tech"
The board may not be displaying the status in the columns if the status was added after its creation. Try checking the Board Settings > Columns and ensure your status is located there.
Thanks. I have that status and I can see that on the Board. Issue I am facing is I do not see "Tech" User stories and defects when I click on quick filter which I have created at the top of backlog view. It Returns 0/203 issues in project. Board wise I can see Tech Column

Just to verify the status ' tech' is located in the column 'tech' ? I added an example of an unmapped status
What JQL are you using in the quick filter?

Here are my columns and status. There is nothing unmapped.
Quick filter that fails to return any results is - status = Tech
Search query that returns results is - project = ABC and issuetype = Story and status = Tech
Also, I have noticed that bugs with status Tech are returned when quick filters is selected, but no user stories with status tech are returned.
