Uncaught ReferenceError: FPClassifier is not defined

Dipesh Sudershan January 15, 2024

I'm unable to load the agile board for any of my projects. I'm also unable to click on anything in the top bar (settings, profile, etc). Getting the same error in chrome and firefox.

Chrome Browser Version: 120.0.6099.217 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Firefox Browser Version: 121.0.1 (64-bit)

I'm getting the below errors in the browser console.

Hello @Dipesh Sudershan ,

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

This is a problem that is tied to the Firefox browser when there are problems with the UI. However, this shouldn't be the case for Chrome. Have you tired using the incognito mode?

Also, this also indicates that there is a bug from the Jira side, but before raising a ticket, try with the incognito mode and see how it will go.

BR,

Nikola

Hi @Nikola Perisic

Thanks for responding back.

I have checked in incognito mode as well. I'm getting the same issue.

Hello @Dipesh Sudershan ,

You also have checked for the Chrome as well. And also what OS are you using. Sometimes this can cause an issue for Linux users.

Dipesh Sudershan January 16, 2024

Yes I have checked for chrome browser as well (both normal and incognito). I'm using Windows 11.

Understood, raise a support ticket for Atlassian, since this indicates that the issue is on their side.

Will do. Thanks.

Upgrading to Chrome 121.0.6167.160 fixed the issue for me.

We had this issue with several users in our company. FPClassifier is part of the data loss prevention software Forcepoint. After reinstallation, the issue was resolved in all cases I’ve encountered so far.

@Björn Eickmann - What did you reinstall? Chrome or forcepoint software or extension of forcepoint in chrome?
