Unique field value requirement

Is it possible to have Unique value in Text Field (single line) custom field ? Value should be unique for all the issue types and should not be repeated.

Hi @Swati Mathapati ,

you should put in place a custom validator that check if that field value has been already entered in one of the issue of your project.

You need a developer background to put in place that. Moreover, using that approach that custom field should not be placed in edit screen. During edit operation no validator will be fired.
