In my case, I am trying to update value to a number field. Can you advice for me?

JIRA Agent user has a administrator role, and the custom field is in a field configuration scheme of this project and screen of this issue type.

Hi @jun lee

It's probably because you're trying to set the ENM_WorkPercent Field twice in the Action - once from the Field selection box, the second in "Additional Options"

Remove one of these two - if it's just updating it to "100", clear the "Additional Options" section and close it, and just keep the direct field value add at the top of the Action

If ENM_WorkPercent is a Number Field, you also don't need "100.00" - 100 will work just the same way.

Give this a go, and let us know if it works!

Hi @jun lee

Have you checked this field is available for the relevant Project/Issue Type you're trying to use it on?

I would check the...

  • Custom Field's Context - to ensure it is not limited to a specific set of Projects/Issue Types
  • Field Configuration (Scheme) relevant to this Project, to see if the field is hidden within there

This is assuming it's a Company-managed Project - if it's Team-managed, is this field available on the Screen?

Hi

Everything is correct what you told me. Is there something else?

Hi @jun lee

Does the user "JIRA Agent" - which you've set as the Actor - have permission to modify these Issues?
