Update Parent Issue when closing last subtask BY BUTTON

When i move last subtask in story from In Progress to Done by board, Update Parent Issue dialogue appears and it's fine.

But if i'm closing last subtask by button in subtask screen Update Parent Issue dialogue does not appear and parent issue remains in In Progress status.

Is there any way to summon Update Parent Issue dialogue when developer closing last subtask by button?

Hi Andrew,

When transitioning the issue from the issue view screen the pop-up will not be trigger, and this is a function of the board view only.

To get around this check out either the "Transition parent when all subtasks are resolved" scripted post function provided by ScriptRunner that will allow for this to occur,  Or the "JMWE: Jira Misc Workflow Extensions" app that contains a "Transition Parent Issue" post function as well that can also do this.

Thanks for answer but ScriptRunner "Transition parent when all subtasks are resolved" is not a workaround beacause it uses one predifined value for resolution field. In our case sometimes we close story with "Done" resolution and sometimes with others (Won't do, Duplicate, etc.)

We need a pop-up screen for developer could be able to choose appropriate resolution.
