Update story custom field upon epic field has changed by automation rule

Hi,

I need to update story custom field upon epic field has changed by automation rule.

I.e.: Epic requestID changed -> X, story requestId should be X.

While between Request to Epic it works well, but between Epic to Task/Story it didn't.

Any idea?

Something like this?

You're however duplicating a lot of data. Whatever it is you are trying to do, can probably be done in a better way to avoid that duplication.

As I said, it seems not to work on JIRA ver 8.16.2.
I'd be happy to check for a simple way.
