Upgrade from 7.4 to 7.13

Greetings, I have a JIRA instance with a separate MySQL instance both running on CentOS. I went through all the upgrade notes from 7.5 to 7.13 and all stated to test the upgrade in a cloned environment. Does this mean I can upgrade from 7.4.2 to 7.13.x?

Thank you.

Hi @Christian

when it says to "test it in a cloned environment" it means that you should test the upgrade in a different environment than production first.

The goal is to not break anything on your Jira instance if you experience issues with a plugin or a specific configuration after upgrading.

However you can decide to do the upgrade directly on your production instance first, if you think the risk is low. It's totally up to you !

Let me know if you have any questions,

Thanks Alexis. I'm running JIRA on google cloud platform. I'll attempt the cloning process and see where this goes. Thanks!
