I have a user that cannot see a field on a create screen. The field has been added to the create screen and there are no security schemes on the project.
I can see the field as the Jira admin. The user in question is the project admin (this is a company managed project) but can't see this one field in the create screen. If I make it required, they can then see it. But we don't want the field to be required.
Hi @dkwan
There is an nice option "Find your field" (you can find it on you specific issue under three dots menu). Then you typa the name of the field and check if configuration is fine.
You might get some useful information like this below that would help us troubleshoot
Let's start by executing that. If you can please share your results.
Here is what I see. It says it is present, which it is for me. When I log in as another user, it is not present. The other user is not a Jira admin, so they don't have the "find your field" option.

Just to clarify.. It is actually a setting per user so you might have it on on your screen but it might be different for users.. That is important to be sure that affected user is having value "All fields"
But if you are saying that you checked Configure Fields on create screen and there are no hidden fields (for this user) and you as admin see the field but specific user (that is not an admin) is not seeing it.. then it is really strange..
So in order to determine if this is app related is there any other user (different then that) that is also having this issue?
We have to know if this is something really specific to this user or a configuration problem or a some kind of bug in the app, so when you confirm that more there is someone else (non admin) that is also seeing the same behavior.
BTW - what kind of field is it? Is this a default Jira type field or maybe something added by an addon?
