User existing in gmail not sync'ed with Jira

Hello,

I recently created an user in gmail which has not been automatically created in jira.

The sync worked seamlessly until now.

I've checked the user account in gmail and it looks ok.

Shall I add it manually, despite the G-Sync?

I would like to avoid duplicates, in case.

Hi Bruno,

I assume you have a G Suite integration with your Jira site, right?

If that's the case, you need to check if the user in G Suite is added to the right group, the group that will be synced with Jira. Also, it might take up to 4 hours for the user creation to reflect in Jira. You can do a force sync from your G Suite to avoid waiting that long.

In fact the user was not assigned to any group.

Assigning it to one of the sync'ed group made it work.
