Hi,
As Jira Administrator I gave one user an access to project as a administrator (to have an access Kanban Board name: X) however the user when tries to open mentioned X board receiving an error:
Contact a jira or board administrator to configure this board
Do you have any ideas how to resolve it?
I resolved myself. Board Administrator userid was provided with uppercase e.g Pawlej I change to pawelj and it worked. However I think it is a small bug in Jira. Because even in the Jira user is provided using UpperCase.
Hi @Pawel Kuba ,
you have to be Board Administrator for configuring a board.
Open the board configuration and add the user as board administrator there.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately I did and the error is still the same :(

In your reply, you say one has to be a "Board Administrator". I am a project admin but I see no "Board Administrator" permissions to set.
How can one assign "Board Administrator"?
Thanks
W.

Hi @arcotek,
look at the board configuration, there you can configure board administrators.
Best,
Thomas
