I've received a query from one of the coders at work, about his ability (or inability) to share search filters. He has created a search filter for one of the projects that he is working, but when he goes to share it with others on the project via the "Details > Permissions" option to add shares is not available.
Checking the Global Permissions we have Users added to Create Shared Objects and Manage Group Filter Subscriptions. but they still cant share it with the team.
Can anyone help with why they can't share the filters?
How you described it, is exactly the same what I would do.
I would tend to raise a bug or service request at Atlassian.
Only idea could be, if you are using external user management. e.g. Active Directory - there can rarely happen curious effects.
Thanks Sebastian,
I didn't think we were doing anything wrong, but will investigate it further.
We not using AD (something we keep saying we are going to configure but haven't got round to it)
