Users stopped receiving emails from Jira

Hi,

 

Some users in my Jira do not receive emails - they used to have them in the past

The emails are not being sent, even though the users defined the notifications well and their email defined correctly. 

We checked with our IT support, it is not blocked by the mail server, the emails are not sent at all

What can I do?

Hi Hadar,

A couple of questions here:

  1. Is this TMP or CMP project?
  2. Have you verified that no member is receiving an email notification?
  3. What type of transaction are you testing with that should result in a notification?
  4. Are you able to add mention anyone and see a notification go across?

Random things to look at:

  • If a CMP project - go to project settings notifications and check that notifications are being sent to the proper role or group for the desired event
  • If a CMP project - check out the work clothes and in sure that your transition post function has the Generic event fired as the last step.

Hi,

 

Thanks for trying to help me out here. 

Some users, no all are not receiving any email - when they are mentioned in a comment, or when w ticket is being assigned to them.

Our IT checked the mail server - the emails are not sent at all to them. it not like it is blocked as a spam

The users are in the groups that are defined though...

i'm out of ideas
