Velocity Report - Show Completed hours without estimates

joe stewart August 1, 2022

My velocity report reads as 0m completed even though there was much work completed (Done) with time tracking entered after completing the sprint. We had not put in estimates as they are unnecessary for the work we are doing so the Commitment is correct being 0m.

Is there a report setting I have missed to initiate seeing our completed work? Is is because we don't put originate estimates in our tickets?

Any help or answers of limitations would be appreciated.

You are correct.  You can't measure velocity against a zero estimate.

The whole point of velocity is it measures what you said would do against what you achieved.

There's nothing wrong with what you're doing, you just shouldn't be looking at velocity reports - you're not doing Scrum, and velocity is a scrum artefact.
