I am using cloud version of Jira and when you choose velocity chart for a Sprint you no longer can see the time frame selection as show in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/velocity-chart-938845700.html
Hello @Pavan Reddy
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
The page you referenced is for Jira Server/Data Center.
Selecting a time frame for the same report in Jira Cloud is not supported.
Refer to the documentation for that report in Jira Cloud here:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/view-and-understand-the-velocity-chart/
Trudy, What is the reason Jira cloud does not support timeframe? Does Jira cloud have an dashboard that provides ability to run velocity report by timeframe?

Hello @Violet Baker
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
I am not a member of the Atlassian team and I have no information about the factors that influenced their design decisions for that report.
No, Jira does not natively provide a Dashboard gadget for that option.
If you are willing to consider third party apps you might find one that provides that functionality in the Atlassian Marketplace.

It still seems strange to me that functionality is not on Jira Cloud but it is for older versions.
The timeframe functionality is there for Control Charts report on Jira Cloud. It should hopefully be an easy/more straightforward thing to implement for Velocity reports too.

Thank you for the inform. At a glance the control chart shows the cycle time (or lead time). The older velocity report provided an Average it had a black line to show the amount of work completed on average across all the shown sprints.
