Version Reports gadget gives access error

I am the jira administrator of our on-premise instance.  When I add the version report to a dashboard, it gives the following error.  What would I possibly not have access to perform?

Is it only version's Report gadget problem, or you can not add any other gadget to the dashboard ?

If you can not add any gadget to the dashboard, then you need to be sure that the group your user belong to has the "Create Shared Objects" Permission

You can do this from Admin-->System--> Global Permission

Thanks for reply to my issue.  Yes I can add other gadgets with no issue.  It is only this one.  And I have administrator rights.

seems like this issue reproduced for a specific reason /version as i found here.so, may be it is a problem with your current JIRA version ,I would recommend to open a Jira Ticket and they will provide the required support.
