Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me with a query? What I need is when using the Backlog board in Jira that I can see for each issue type the labels field highlighted. But not all the labels types just a selected two. I have two labels called D.o.R=TRUE and D.o.R= FALSE.
I want in the refinement Meeting the that Team are able to distinguish which Issue type is True or False by the label. So they can start refining the next prioritised Issue Type. Have a look at the diagram below to help. Any help would be great! Thank you in advance!
Hi @Graeme ,
Welcome to the Atlassian community,
You can ask your team to use the quickfilter to select only the 2 label you want to appear when doing refining meeting.
In the Backlog view, you can see there is a label quickfilter (together with epic and type base on your screenshot).
Hope it helps,
Thank you.
Yeah, great answer! The only problem I have is that the team have created some many quick filters it's starting tol get confusing and we have even cleaned up the filters as well. I just want a more simpler approach.

I don't think there is a better way to get only all the labels you want without using the quick filter or changing the board filter. If you want a one-click quick filter that will filter the 2 labels, you can create a custom quick filter and add this jql
labels in ("D.o.R=TRUE", "D.o.R= FALSE")
This will search all labels with D.o.R=TRUE or D.o.R= FALSE
Note that issues will still be included in the filter if many labels are selected as long as the D.o.R=TRUE or D.o.R= FALSE is included.
Thanks!

Is it configurable to define what you want to see? In the diagram above it shows the epic type and status. Can you pick and choose what you want to see? If I was to create a custom field called D.o.R and have the two option of true and false from a drop down menu. Well then I could point towards the custom field D.o.R?
The reason why I am being so specific is that I want to implement the Definition of Ready Ready - D.o.R.R in the Product Backlog. So I want to separate the Product Backlog into a series of future Sprints. Each sprint Will have the average amount of PBIs completed per sprint. and for each future sprint the PBIs will be prioritised as per my product vision. this is important. I fear when creating a quick filter it will on list the PBIs without prioritisation.

Sorry No, you can't. The epic, status, story points, priority, and assignee are the only fields editable (you can select directly in view) in the backlog, that are not configurable. Better to add a new status and use the status or use the priority instead.
