Watching Issues Gadget Showing Done Issue

Kevin Bolam February 1, 2022

I have the gadget set to not show Resolved Issues, which seems to remove Cancelled issues, but still shows Done.

Hi Kevin,

Resolved might mean that there is a value in the Resolution field. If your Done tickets are missing a value in that field, that is probably why they are showing. You need to add a Post Function to the transition to Done in the workflow for that project to set the Resolution field.

Thanks for the reply, it does look like we have a date value in our Resolved field on Jira's that are status=Done. I was hoping it didn't as your explanation made sense. Any other ideas?

Resolution field - not Resolved field.

Kevin Bolam February 3, 2022

Yep, that's winner. We don't have that workflow in place, nor require Resolution on closure so while some project owners set it out of habit, some don't and they end up staying on the watchlist.

Thanks for the help
