We have about 10 dev staff - how long do you think it will take us to get going with Jira software?  What is the best way to proceed?

Hi! Jira is very intuitive. But a Short initial training is always the best approach for me.

When I start with a new team, I always do a breif introduction on what are:

- Main Menu

- Issuetypes structure: whats a story, an epic, a subtask..
- Workflows...
- Boards & metrics (story points)

- Issue navigation basics

- Basic Dashboards (how to create, share and add gadgets)

And set some ground rules: what do I expect them to do?.
I start with a planning meetting, and then to review the boards on the daily meetings, to get use to having it updated regularly.

I hope this helps you.

Also there are a lots of webinars to refer to.

Hi @Susan Anglin,

You should be able to get going with Jira fairly quickly, you can get a lot of information from this Community, and the documentation has really good tutorials. You also have Training for Jira which gives you access to short tutorials from within Jira.
