Webhook with MsTeams pulling data from multiple projects

Inese Dabolina September 21, 2020

Hi,

I've set up a webhook - JIRA Software (Cloud) and MsTeams channel. For some reason notifications are being pulled from multiple projects and not just the one I specified, i.e., project = Number 1. There are two other projects created and managed by the same team which are also pulled through to MsTeams via this webhook.

Does anyone know what the reason could be for this?

Hi @Inese Dabolina ,

It could be that your JQL is not correct. If you could display how you set this up + jql + your project keys, I can be more helpful.

I advise to check the JQL independently to make sure it returns the correct issues to watch for before using it anyway.

Check out our Microsoft Teams Jira Connector also, we are having a lot of new things coming up in the next few weeks.

Regards

How do I go about checking the JQL independently?

I don't appear to have access to the link.

@Inese Dabolina that was just an example.

Do you want to schedule a video call to help you with the integration of Microsoft Teams and Jira?

I think I got there in the end. There was an option to select a JIRA filter when setting up JIRA connection with MsTeams. I chose the one I required and now can only see those specific epics/issues :)
