What are these run-crons* files?

I am trying to regain some GB.  I have come across a temp folder.  What are these run-crons* items? I've got them as far back as last August; the latest I have is January 12th.  Can these be deleted?

Hi @Monica Collins ,

Yes you can delete the files which are present in the temp folder. 

1 You can take the backup for safer side before deleting it

2. need to shut down the application before deleting those file.

3. after deleting file you can start the application

I have also face same issue where the temp folder consume more of size in GB and Atlassian also suggested the same thing.

Thanks.  I don't know enough about linux.  I'm looking at what I think are the size of the items.  It looks like the size of run-crons_mail.18215 is 31 bytes, correct?  Is 4096 the size of the folder?
