What causes issue history to show an invalid/date and time?

When we were doing some bulk updates on Friday, the history doesn't show the day and time of what happened.  Instead it displays "Done {1000}"  or "Released {12600}.  Is that normal?  Why doesn't it display the date and time the change was made?  Issue history.jpg

Hi @Linda Noonan

When you see in the log "Done [1000]" or "Released [12600]", the number is the internal Jira identifier of those status values: 1000 for "Done" and 12600 for "Released".  They are not date / time values.

The date / time of the change is at the top of each entry.  For the ones which appear as relative value, such as "1 week ago", you need to hover the cursor over them to see the actual date / time value.

Kind regards,
Bill

Thank you for your response.  I didn't know it worked like that.

Hi @Linda Noonan

It shows 1 week ago. I'm not sure about the server, but on the cloud, you can change the date format when you click on it. So it will show the date and time instead of 1 week ago.

Try to click on it:
