Hi,

We are now seeing a "Releases" field that is blank and not-editable. What is this and how does it work?

Hi,
If you have a deployment build in Deployments, the [releases] field will have a value.
Check the link below to find out what Deployments are.

I am sure it is related to the Releases feature (under project settings), but it is blank and noneditable (no "add deployment" option)

Is there a setting related to this in the project's permissions scheme?

I use a GitHub repo, with deployment Environments configured and used in my deployment workflows. When a deployment to such an Environment runs, I see the Releases field having those Environments appear in it.
