What is the best way to sort projects in order of priority

We use all types of projects (Software, Business) but can't pin down a way to rank the projects in order of priority. 

For example, if we want to share a report to the team to show the higher level view of what is most important project, how could we share this?

Hi @Ciara ,

unfortunately projects have not a priority associated. I used an external app for that https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214587/project-priorities-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=server but it seems not available in the cloud.

As a workaround you could create project categories (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-assign-and-delete-project-categories/) for your priorities and associate your project with these categories.

Maybe it's something Jira will add to their Roapmap?
