/opt/atlassian/jira/bin and /datadisks/disk1/log/

Then if I check on the Log analyzer tab of Jira admin portal, it shows an other log location as  : /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/log

You can find the correct path in Jira UI.

Using an administrator account, Navitage to >>  System >> System Info and them locate 'Location of atlassian-jira.log' entry.

Kind Regards.

Thanks for your prompt answer. So the rule is to check for the Home directory and log should be there.

my system info settings shows : /var/atlassian/application-data/jira

By the way, what is the place in jira site to check for errors ?

Thanks for your help

You can install some third-party FREE apps, to tail the log-file from the UI such as:

Hi @sc ,

If /datadisks/disk1/log/  this is home directory path, then this is the correct location to verify the atlassin-jira.log file.

Example : /homedirectory/log
