Ok, so it's ridiculous that for such a huge change, I had to search Google to find a Reddit post that referred me to this YouTube of a webinar hosted by the Boise Atlassian Community (shout out to @Erica Larson) that FINALLY had a list of rollout dates (as of Feb 14, 2025, YMMV, T&C MAY APPLY, READ THE FINE PRINT, SUBJECT TO THE WHIMS OF ATLASSIAN PMs, ETC ETC.):
For better Google indexing, I'll type it out:

For those of you who are wondering "What's Darryl yammering about now?", this means that if you are on Free or Standard, you may soon encounter your users howling about why their Jira UI looks different.
A pretty good overview of what it looks like NOW (but we really need some BEFORE/AFTER examples) is here:

2025/03/05 UPDATE: ROLLOUT COMING SOONER!
[I half-watched this Webinar last Wednesday (9AM PST Mar 5) but didn't go back to the recording until now. (NOTE: they still discriminate against gmail.com accounts, for some reason.)]
Again, for Google indexing:

Why hello @Calvin @Martin Flury and @Yatish Madhav - I guess we'll continue the discussion here. ;-}
Calvin - yes, I grabbed a screencap from the Webinar you mentioned.
Martin - yes, I also gathered from the webinar that the changes are ONLY for Jira, not Confluence
Yatish - yes, it's frustrating that Atlassian has not published an official page for this. I'd HAPPILY rather link to that than having to scrub through Webinars to dig this up.
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Based on the yellow highlighting in the slide above, it seems to me that Atlassian is doing a lot of ... thinking/adjusting/recalibrating/waffling/OKR-managing/goalpost-moving, AND SO, I think we need to take any dates they give with a grain of salt. It seems very fluid
Because we all know how great computers work is when you spill fluids on them. :-P

:D
Thanks for that @Darryl Lee - that is relatively handy :)
Yeah, it is frustrating, esp when it is a huge update like this and we need to keep our users updated to avoid frustration (Esp in an ecosystem where previous admins made a nice royal mess of our instance and I am still cleaning it up 4 years later)
I had a product review call (i think last year) with an Atlassian Product Manager around the Product Updates page and we discussed this in detail and I thought that was a great call and would lead to solving this.
I will keep my salt shaker close by!
Thanks again.

Hmm.. In my 15 years of working with Atlassian products this is another UI change that is coming :) .. from top nav to sidebar again.. to top nav again and now .. sidebar .. ;)
I hope we would finally get a view that would survive for than few years :)
BTW - Nice work @Darryl Lee for tracking this topic! It is important to know what is coming and when!
