When issue expiry date <= 7days time → send email reminder - help with Jira automation syntax

I have a custom field called Expiry Date.

I want to set up an automation which checks the tickets in a project and if the expiry date within the next 7 days, emails the relevant people.

I am struggling with the 'expiry date' value to input into the rules, what I am doing isn't working (please note i have left the send email action off the screenshot as it contains peoples names).

Please can anyone help?

Hello @Kara Nadarajah

The error message states the problem - the rule is not able to find a field named Expirydate.

Does "Expirydate" exactly match the name of the field as it appears on the issue screen? Can you create a filter for the Expirydate field in the issue search screen? I like to create my filters there first as much as I can and then copy the JQL into the automation rule to ensure I have the correct syntax.

Thanks it was "Expiry date[Date]" - i've updated it and that's worked.
