When we close sprint, Jira stories with status Inprogress are not moving to future sprint.
Also, we didn't find them in Backlog.
Also, verified if resolution set for those jira stories are unresolved only.
Any ideas for finding root cause and fix.
Hello @Kishore D
When looking at the Resolution for the issues does it display as italics
Unresolved
...or not italics
Unresolved
If it is is italics, that means the Resolution field is empty and the issue is considered unresolved. If it is not italics, then the Resolution field has been set to the value "Unresolved". When the Resolution field is set to any value, vs. being empty, then the issue is considered Resolved regardless of the actual meaning of the value in the field.
Hi @Kishore D
Is the In Progress status mapped to the last column of your Sprint board ?
Do you have the warning that some task are not completed when closing the sprint ?

Hi @Florian Bonniec ,
Sprint was closed by other persons and we are checking why the issue occured.
In progress status not mapped to last column of sprint board.

The user who close the sprint should have had a pop up asking what to do with the not completed issues.

Issues should be in the backlog or another sprint in the same board.
If not it may be related to the JQL the board is based on and the issue is no longer returned by the query.
