When will the Atlassian hosted JIRA be documented with true information?

sw engineer July 17, 2018

I loved the OLD JIRA but cannot do anything interesting in the NEW JIRA - When will Atlassian choose to document all the new crap?  Everything is moved and no longer intuitive, so I cannot use Sprints anymore - they exist but cannot be used and the boards don't appear where expected and there is no online help since everything is still describing the OLD JIRA.

FWIW, I suppose I am ready to PAY for HELP since the free information is wrong.  Anyone game to tutor my team for a few hours?

Thx.

@sw engineer, i'm happy to try to assist for free. Could you present the question(s) you are struggling with under the new UI?

Free is great!  Eventually, I find a hack to get closer on each issue, but I just don't find the new layout intuitive - or useful.  Drag N Drop is just annoying to use on a single-pane - the right-click was much simpler & faster.  So, for instance:

* My project has only a few roles; I see no way to add them.  It looks like they must be added under my top-level admin and then somehow attached to a project.  I have my staff properly assigned to a project in one page (under MyCompany.atlassian.net/admin/groups/), but there is nobody showing in another page (followed from my project details page on MyCompany.atlassian.net/secure/project/MyProj to the PEOPLE page where I get a servlet at MyCompany.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/project-config/MyProj/people) - what is the difference?

* The Add Sprint option was hidden down the page with the backlog, so it was not so obvious to uncover, but I have it now (until they move it again).

Thx.
