Where did the "mentioned in" Confluence links go to in the new JIRA issue view?

René Moonen September 17, 2018

Switching to the new view seems to ignore the many "mention in" Confluence links we have in our tickets. Switching from old to new view and back clearly shows the links are there, but I can't find them in the new view

Anyone can give me some pointers?

Hi

Ignore my original question. I have found my answer.... https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69973

Apparently existing features in the old view are now considered feature request to the new view. That's a real pity, but I guess we have to live with it.

I hope the old view remains active for quite some time.

best regards

René

Hi Yogesh

Thanks for your feedback. I did see this article, but I can't seem to find how to make existing 'Mentioned in' Confluence links visible again. Maybe I'm missing something?

With the old view, there was nothing special I had to do in JIRA. Mentioning a ticket in Confluence was enough to have the 'Mentioned in' link appearing in JIRA.

We are using both JIRA and Confluence from the cloud, so that is why I expect this Atlassian feature to just be there in the new view as well.

I'm not looking for having to add links manually as that would do away with this nice feature to point developers to more detailed business information in Confluence.

Best regards

René
