Hi All,
I would like to compare the Planned Saving Hours vs Actual hours delivered in Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4. I am not sure which gadget to be used to compare planned vs actual hours. I have created a EPIC story and provided hard coded values in Estimated Savings and Actual Savings fields each quarter EPIC and using them in Smart filter but not getting the result. Kindly help!!
Shyam
Hello @Shyam Prasad ,
which fields are relevant for the report?
With the date, for example, it makes a difference whether a date from the issue (e.g. Created, Due Date, Start Date, ...) is relevant or a date from the work log.
Do you use the Jira standard functionality for time tracking or a third-party app?
Which fields are then relevant for summarizing at quarterly level? Original Estimate and Time Spent, or others?
For example, the Two-Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget is not relevant if the work log date is relevant.
Cheers
Frank
Hi Frank,
Thanks for your reply. I am not using any third-party apps, only using default gadgets. I would like to create a dashboard with Planned Hours vs Actual Hours.
Below is the Example what I am looking for.
Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4
Planned Hours Saving 15,000 20,000 1000
Actual Hours Delivered 12,000 25,000 800
Regards
Shyam

Hi @Shyam Prasad ,
if an app is possible, I can recommend our app sumUp for Jira. We deliver four additional dashboard gadgets in which we provide summarizing functions. For example, we deliver a Two-Dimensional Filter Result gadget, which includes a totals row and column and, more recently, a date functionality in which you can quickly change the time period and the display (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly) in the gadget.
Here is an example that comes relatively close to yours:
The important thing here is that these are transaction-related fields.
Maybe you'll give our app a chance.
Cheers
Frank
