Which User are Billable under Atlassian Guard

Hi Experts

Need some guidance one below use case.

Currently we have 2500 unique user of abc.com domain which is verified domain and these are managed account 

now we want onboard 1000 more user for abc.com domain to our Atlassian system, do these 1000 are billable under Atlassian guard and we need to add more Atlassian guard license so that they login via MS SSO ? Kindly suggest

Hi @Vikrant Yadav,

From the Atlassian Guard Licensing FAQ:

A billable account is any managed account and external user that has access to Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management (agents only), or Trello. When a user has access to any of those products, that user is considered billable. 

So if these 1.000 users are new to any of the above products, then yes: they will become additional users for guard and you'll need more licenses there as well.
